Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy explains how Digital Analytica Limited ("we", "us", "our") uses your personal information when you use BeatMyBroadband.com (the "site"). We only use your information in the ways described here.
1. Who we are
BeatMyBroadband.com is run by Digital Analytica Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15423850), with its registered office at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We are the "controller" of the personal information described in this policy and are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC041216. You can contact us about your information at info@digital-analytica.co.uk. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; privacy enquiries sent to that address are handled by the person responsible for data protection at our company.
2. What our service does
BeatMyBroadband.com is a free service. You tell us your address and a few details, and we show you broadband deals from our partners and, with your agreement, introduce you to the provider or partner that can offer you a deal. We are not a broadband provider.
3. The information we collect
- Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, address and postcode, your current broadband provider, the range of your current monthly bill, and the deal you are interested in.
- Your consent choices: which boxes you ticked, the wording you were shown, and the date and time.
- Information collected automatically: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit and how you reached the site (for example, an advert you clicked). Optional cookies and similar technologies are only used if you agree (see section 7).
- Address lookup: when you type your address or postcode, the text you type is sent to an address lookup provider so it can suggest matching addresses.
- Checks we may run: we may check that a phone number or email address is valid and working, using specialist data validation services.
- Messages you send us, such as emails to our contact address.
We do not ask for bank, card or payment details, and we do not ask for sensitive information about your health, beliefs or similar.

We only pass your details to partners for the purposes you agreed to on our consent page. We may receive a payment from a partner for introducing you, and whether we are paid may depend on whether you become that partner's customer. This does not affect the price you pay. You can ask us at any time which partners have your details.
6. Marketing and contacting you
We and our partners will only contact you about broadband and related offers if you have agreed to this. You can change your mind at any time by emailing info@digital-analytica.co.uk, by using the unsubscribe or "stop" option in any message, or by telling the caller. When you opt out, we will stop contacting you and keep a record of your request so that we do not contact you again. You may also want to register with the Telephone Preference Service (tps.org.uk) to reduce unsolicited marketing calls.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies to make the site work. We only use optional analytics or advertising cookies if you choose to accept them, and you can change your choice at any time. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
8. Sending your information outside the UK
Some of the companies that help us run the service may handle your information outside the UK. Where this happens, we make sure it is protected, for example by transferring it only to countries the UK government has approved, or by using the UK's approved contract terms (the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum) together with other safeguards.
9. How long we keep your information
- Your enquiry details: for up to 24 months after you submit them, then we delete or anonymise them.
- Records of your consent (what you agreed to, when and how): for six years, so that we can show we followed the law.
- Records that you have opted out of contact: for as long as needed to make sure we do not contact you again.
- Emails and messages you send us: for as long as needed to answer you and for up to six years afterwards where they relate to a complaint or claim.
We may keep information for longer if the law requires it or if it is needed in a legal claim.
10. Keeping your information secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections to the site, access controls and secure hosting. No online service can be completely secure, so please take care when sharing information online.
11. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: be told how your information is used; see the information we hold about you; have wrong information corrected; have your information deleted in some circumstances; restrict or object to some uses of your information; receive your information in a portable format in some circumstances; and withdraw your consent at any time (this will not affect anything we did before you withdrew it). To use any of these rights, email info@digital-analytica.co.uk. We will normally reply within one month and will not charge a fee unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please contact us first so we can try to put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
13. Children
Our service is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
14. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
15. Links to other websites
The site may link to other websites, including our partners'. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their privacy policies.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make important changes, we will make them clear on the site.
